Crypto positions worth $32.94 million were liquidated across Binance, Bybit and OKX in the hour ending at 8:38 a.m. ET (12:38 UTC) Sept. 30, with short positions accounting for $32.01 million, or 97% of the total.

The tally covered 3,937 liquidations based on publicly available liquidation data from the three exchanges. Long positions accounted for $930,000 during the same period.

Binance recorded the largest exchange-level total at $20.96 million. OKX followed with $7.74 million, while Bybit recorded $4.24 million in liquidations.

Bitcoin (BTC) had the largest asset-level total at $14.41 million, followed by Ether (ETH) at $7.53 million and Solana (SOL) at $2.75 million. The figures cover only the three exchanges and do not represent the entire cryptocurrency market.
