Bitcoin (BTC) rose 2.19% in four hours to $84,887 at 8:43 a.m. ET (12:43 p.m. UTC) Wednesday, extending its 24-hour gain to 0.61%.

The price increased from $83,068 over the four-hour period, based on spot BTC/USDT prices collected directly from Binance and calculated by TokenPost. Bitcoin short liquidations reached $17.59 million across Binance, Bybit and OKX during the same hour.

Long liquidations totaled $20,000 over that period. Bitcoin’s market capitalization was approximately $1.6858 trillion at the time of the measurement.
