Bitcoin (BTC) fell 1.24% in one hour to $84,300 at 10:08 a.m. ET (14:08 UTC) on Sept. 30, extending a sharp short-term decline while remaining up 0.42% over the past 24 hours.

The price dropped from $85,356 one hour earlier, based on TokenPost’s direct collection and calculation of public exchange prices. The current price reflects Binance’s spot BTC/USDT market.

Long positions worth $8.03 million were liquidated during the same hour across Binance, Bybit and OKX, compared with $2.56 million in short liquidations. The imbalance shows that leveraged bullish positions accounted for most of the forced closures during the move.
