# Two Hyperliquid Traders Post More Than $2.1 Million in LIT Short Gains

Lighter (LIT) fell about 11.4% over 24 hours to roughly $3.99 on Sept. 30, leaving two large short positions on Hyperliquid with combined unrealized gains of approximately $2.11 million.

An address beginning 0xbe195 held roughly 1.148 million LIT in a short position valued at about $4.58 million. Its average entry price was near $4.95, giving the position an unrealized gain of approximately $1.102 million.

The trader started building the short near $5.30 on Sept. 25 and completed the position later that day.

A second address beginning 0x60a8 held about 1.138 million LIT valued at roughly $4.54 million. With an average entry price near $4.87, the position carried an unrealized gain of approximately $1.005 million.

That trader opened the short on Sept. 25 before adding to it on Sept. 26 and Sept. 29. The additions were made at average prices of about $4.80 and $4.38, expanding the position from approximately 836,400 LIT to 1.138 million LIT.

Robinhood’s decision to launch perpetual-contract services in the U.S. through its affiliated Bitstamp platform may have reduced expectations that Lighter would capture additional trading volume. That development was a possible catalyst for LIT’s short-term decline.
