# Crypto Liquidations Hit $277 Million as Long and Short Positions Were Both Liquidated

Crypto-market liquidations totaled $277 million in the past 24 hours as of Sept. 30, with long and short positions accounting for nearly equal portions of the losses.

Long-position liquidations reached $142 million, while short-position liquidations totaled $136 million. The figures show that both sides of the market faced substantial forced closures during the period.

Bitcoin (BTC) liquidations reached $91.262 million. Ether (ETH) liquidations totaled $56.7116 million.

HTX recorded the largest individual liquidation order, valued at $6.9154 million in the BTC-USDT market.
