> Solana gained 15.9% in the week through Oct. 1 and was trading at $117.25. Chart analyses also identify potential cup-and-handle patterns on weekly and five-year time frames.

Solana (SOL) was trading at $117.25 on Oct. 1 after rising 15.9% over the previous week, while chart analyses highlighted a $100 support zone where at least 40 million coins changed hands.

The $100 area has been identified as a point of on-chain support. A separate weekly chart analysis identified a cup-and-handle pattern, with its neckline near $360.

If SOL reaches $360, $1,300 has been cited as a potential long-term target. The analysis also points to a possible cup-and-handle pattern on Solana’s five-year chart, which is nearing a resolution after an extended consolidation period.

That longer-term pattern could first make a move of at least 100% toward its upper boundary, the analysis indicates. Recent flows into Solana-related spot exchange-traded funds have added to the bullish narrative around the token.
