> Separate contracts put the odds of reaching $87,500 at 84% and falling to the $80,000 threshold at 45%.

Bitcoin (BTC) traders priced a 64% chance that the cryptocurrency would reach $90,000 at some point in October, while a separate market put the odds of a drop to $80,000 at 45%. The contracts measure whether Bitcoin touches a price threshold during the month, not where it finishes October.

Other displayed odds put the chance of Bitcoin reaching $87,500 at 84% and the chance of falling to the $82,500 downside threshold at 67%. The October market showed about $1.07 million in total volume and runs through Oct. 31.

These probabilities reflect market pricing and can change as traders buy and sell shares; they do not guarantee that Bitcoin will reach any threshold.

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded a net $102.7 million inflow on Oct. 1. BlackRock’s IBIT had a $195.6 million inflow, while Fidelity’s FBTC saw $60.7 million in outflows. The daily figures cover one trading session and do not establish what drove Bitcoin’s price.
