Ether (ETH) fell 2.26% in four hours to $2,690 at 1:41 a.m. ET on Oct. 3 (05:41 UTC), while liquidations of long positions reached $2.5 million during the same one-hour period.

TokenPost calculated the price change from its collection of Binance spot ETH/USDT quotes, which showed Ether at $2,752 four hours earlier. The asset was up 0.32% over 24 hours at the measurement time.

Short liquidations totaled $20,000 in that hour, based on TokenPost’s own aggregation across Binance, Bybit and OKX. Ether ranked second by market capitalization, at about $328.964 billion.
