> On Oct. 1, the reported Solana category held $1.91 billion in net assets, compared with $1.69 billion for XRP. Solana also recorded larger net inflows from Sept. 17 through Oct. 1.

Reported Solana (SOL) fund net assets exceeded those of XRP funds on Oct. 1, at $1.91 billion versus $1.69 billion, while Solana also recorded higher net inflows between Sept. 17 and Oct. 1.

The reported Solana category recorded $253.98 million in net inflows across eight consecutive inflow days from Sept. 17 through Oct. 1. The XRP category recorded $83.63 million over the same period. The reported totals do not specify which funds each category includes.

The categories first moved ahead of one another on Sept. 17, when Solana products had $1.42 billion in net assets and XRP products had $1.39 billion. The Oct. 1 figures do not specify an observation time.

Net assets and cumulative net inflows measure different things. Net assets reflect the value held by funds, while cumulative net inflows track contributions minus withdrawals over time. The figures alone do not show how much of the difference came from fund flows versus market-price moves.

Cumulative net inflows were about $1.61 billion for Solana funds and about $1.79 billion for XRP funds. Solana therefore led in reported net assets while trailing in cumulative inflows.

Market capitalization figures dated Oct. 2 put Solana at $71.77 billion and XRP at $96.94 billion. Those dates differ from the Oct. 1 fund net-asset snapshot, so the figures are not a same-day comparison.
