# Crypto Stocks Rise as Western Digital Gains 7.38% at the Open

Crypto stocks and several storage shares rose at the U.S. market open Oct. 5, while the major indexes moved in different directions.

Among crypto stocks, SharpLink Gaming (SBET) gained 2.35%, BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) rose 1.6%, Gemini (GEMI) added 2.57%, Bullish (BLSH) climbed 1.52% and Strategy (MSTR) advanced 1.94%. Circle (CRCL) rose 1.78%, and Coinbase (COIN) gained 2.09%.

Western Digital added 7.38% and Seagate Technology (STX) climbed 5.21%. SanDisk rose 0.64%, while Micron fell 0.74%.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 0.1% at the open. The S&P 500 rose 0.07%, and the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.1%.
