Ether (ETH) fell to $2,611 at 10:03 p.m. ET (02:03 UTC) on Oct. 6, dropping 3.09% from $2,694 in the previous hour as leveraged long positions faced heavy liquidations.

The price was measured on Binance’s spot ETH/USDT market through TokenPost’s direct collection of public exchange prices. Ether was down 3.51% from its level 24 hours earlier.

Long Ether liquidations totaled $62.44 million across Binance, Bybit and OKX during the same one-hour period. Short liquidations totaled $290,000.
