> Separate readings placed BCH between $305.80 and $307.50 on Oct. 7, while technical scenarios outlined a $338-$345 range above resistance and a $275-$280 downside level.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) traded near a key support zone on Oct. 7 as differing market readings showed prices between $305.80 and $307.50 and left its near-term technical picture divided.

BCH traded at $307.50 at 4:43 a.m. ET (08:43 UTC), down 2.81% over 24 hours, with a 24-hour low of $300.80. Separate readings placed the daily close at $305.80 and the mark price at $306.47. Daily declines ranged from 1.97% to 2.92%.

Immediate support was identified at $299.50, with resistance at $316.80. A move above resistance corresponds to a projected 30-day range of $338-$345, while a break below support corresponds to a possible decline toward $275-$280. These are analysis scenarios rather than confirmed forecasts.

BCH's seven-day simple moving average was $313.66, its 20-day average was $309.18 and its 200-day average was $305.45. Stochastic readings were 21.35 for %K and 17.08 for %D, with an average true range of $15.26.

Futures data also showed differing readings. Open interest was listed at $115 million, up 0.91% over 24 hours, in one set of figures and at $111.72 million, down 2.64%, in another. Funding was 0.0100% in both readings.

Holding $299.50 would support the higher-range scenario, while a break below that level would support the lower-range scenario. Reclaiming $316.80 is the stated resistance test.
