Stellar (XLM) traded near $0.21 on Oct. 7 as conflicting daily price readings and mixed momentum signals left the token testing $0.20 support.

One market feed listed an Oct. 7 close of $0.20578, down 2.97%, after XLM opened at $0.21208 and traded between $0.20328 and $0.21256. Another listed a $0.20568 close, a $0.21389 open, a $0.21482 high and a $0.20269 low, with $6.31 million in volume.

A separate historical record showed an Oct. 6 close of $0.212127 and no available close for Oct. 7. The records therefore show different Oct. 7 readings.

The technical setup placed XLM’s 50-day average at $0.20, its 20-day average at $0.21 and its seven-day average at $0.22. The 200-day average stood at $0.18. The lower Bollinger Band was listed at $0.19, while the upper band was $0.23.

Momentum indicators were mixed. The stochastic oscillator showed %K at 22.89% and %D at 18.31%, while the relative strength index was below 50. The moving average convergence divergence histogram was flat, and the average true range stood at $0.01.

The bullish technical scenario requires XLM to recover the $0.21-to-$0.22 area with stronger spot buying. The bearish scenario involves a daily close below $0.20 alongside heavier selling volume. The next lower support areas were identified at $0.19 and $0.17 to $0.18.
