Canary Capital’s Canary XRP ETF (XRPC) fell 36.68% since inception as of Sept. 28, 2026, while holding $372.9 million in net assets, highlighting the fund’s decline from its starting value.

XRPC traded at $15.74 on Sept. 28, with a net asset value of $15.83. The fund charges a 0.50% sponsor fee. The figures represent a cumulative decline since inception, not a documented 40% loss in a single trading session.

The fund’s inception date was Nov. 12, 2025, and trading began on Nasdaq on Nov. 13, 2025. XRPC is designed to give investors direct exposure to XRP through a listed security.

XRPC seeks to track the value of the XRP it holds, minus operating expenses and other liabilities. Its shares can trade above or below net asset value. Authorized participants can create shares with cash or XRP and receive either cash or XRP when redeeming them.

U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded products collectively held approximately $1 billion in assets as of early 2026, with cumulative net inflows exceeding $1.4 billion since the first launch in September 2025. Seven U.S.-listed spot XRP products were identified, including XRPC, Bitwise’s XRP ETF, Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ, Grayscale’s GXRP, 21Shares’ TOXR, REX-Osprey’s XRPR and Amplify’s offering.

During the [Sept. 28-Oct. 2, 2026, trading week](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/26724>), U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds recorded $4.7439 million in net inflows. XRPC added $780,900 during the week.

The fund’s structure allows its market price and net asset value to differ. Net asset value represents the value of the fund’s holdings per share, while the market price is determined by trading on the exchange.
