> XRP’s 50-day and 200-day exponential moving averages stood near $1.39 and $1.38, while reserve figures showed different trends across measurement windows.

XRP traded below $1.40 on Oct. 8 as momentum indicators weakened and exchange-reserve data sent conflicting signals across measurement windows.

Bitcoin (BTC) traded below $83,000, while Ether (ETH) moved under $2,600. XRP’s 50-day exponential moving average stood near $1.39, and its 200-day EMA was near $1.38. The 100-day EMA was around $1.34, while the SuperTrend line stood at $1.30. Resistance levels were identified near $1.64 and $1.70.

XRP’s Relative Strength Index was near 43, indicating softer momentum. Its Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator also moved further below zero. These readings describe weaker momentum but do not establish a fixed price outcome.

Exchange-reserve figures showed different trends across measurement windows. One snapshot placed Binance balances near 2.64 billion XRP after an October low of about 2.62 billion XRP. Another showed Binance reserves falling from 2.704 billion XRP on Sept. 26 to 2.631 billion XRP on Oct. 4, a decline of about 73.1 million XRP, or 2.7%.

Upbit reserves declined from 6.446 billion XRP on Sept. 11 to 6.415 billion XRP on Oct. 5, a reduction of about 31 million XRP. The listed Binance and Upbit snapshots therefore imply a combined decline of approximately 104.7 million XRP over their respective periods.

The different windows and snapshots prevent the figures from being reconciled into a single reserve trend. Reserve changes alone also do not establish whether XRP was sold, moved into private custody, transferred between exchanges or redistributed among wallets.

XRP spot ETFs recorded $4.7439 million in net inflows during the Sept. 28-Oct. 2 trading week. Cumulative inflows stood at $1.79 billion, while total net assets were listed at $1.66 billion as of Oct. 4. Cumulative inflows measure money entering the products over time, while assets under management reflect the current value of fund holdings and can change with XRP’s price.

Near-term technical support was concentrated around the $1.39-$1.38 area. A sustained break below that zone would weaken the technical structure, with $1.34 and $1.30 serving as deeper support levels.
