Ripple's XRP fell 3.40% in one hour to $1.36 as of 11:23 a.m. ET (15:23 UTC) on Oct. 8, extending its 24-hour decline to 4.59%.

The token dropped from $1.41 to $1.36 over the one-hour period. The price was measured from Binance's XRP/USDT spot market using exchange data collected by TokenPost.

Long XRP liquidations totaled $8.36 million across Binance, Bybit and OKX during the same hour, compared with $30,000 in short liquidations.

XRP ranked fifth by market capitalization at approximately $88.0918 billion.
