Ether (ETH) long-position liquidations reached $109.24 million in the hour through 12:18 p.m. ET (16:18 UTC) on Oct. 8, as the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization fell 2.90%.

Total liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX reached $111.43 million during the period. Short-position liquidations accounted for $2.19 million of the total.

Ether traded at $2,508 at the start of the hour and fell to $2,435 by the end. The figures cover only the three exchanges and do not represent the entire market.
