# ARK Invest Sells SpaceX and AMD Shares, Buys Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Stock

ARK Invest’s Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026 disclosure lists sales of SpaceX and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) shares alongside a purchase of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions shares, shifting fund activity toward defense exposure.

The disclosure records sales of 29,048 SpaceX shares and 22,500 AMD shares. It also lists the purchase of 159,918 Kratos shares.

ARK’s disclosure records transactions by its actively managed exchange-traded funds. The disclosure does not establish that Cathie Wood personally ordered or executed the trades, and it does not explain the investment rationale.

Kratos develops products for defense, national-security, space, communications, unmanned, missile-defense and hypersonic applications. The company posted second-quarter 2026 revenue of $458.8 million, up 30.5% from $351.5 million a year earlier.

Kratos raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $1.750 billion to $1.810 billion, implying organic growth of about 18% to 23% from 2025. Kratos also reported a $1.6 million operating loss in the second quarter.

Eric DeMarco, president and CEO of Kratos, said the quarterly results reflected the team’s execution and that the company’s strategy aligned with the Department of War’s priorities.

Separately, SpaceX announced an agreement to acquire a nationwide low-band spectrum portfolio covering up to 14 megahertz of paired spectrum in the 800 MHz band. The agreement requires final approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The proposed spectrum arrangement would support Starlink Mobile’s combination of satellite-to-mobile connectivity and terrestrial infrastructure.
