U.S. stocks finished higher Friday, Oct. 9, with Snowflake posting the largest gain among five listed AI-related companies as all three major indexes advanced.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.83%, while the S&P 500 gained 0.59% and the Nasdaq Composite added 0.64% at the U.S. close. The VIX fell 3.7% during the session.

Snowflake climbed 7.42% and Ambarella rose 7.22%. Palantir gained 5.17%, Palo Alto Networks added 5.09% and Twilio increased 4.97%.
