> The contract showed $2.09 million in volume, while lower price targets carried higher implied probabilities.

Bitcoin (BTC) has a 1% implied chance of reaching $200,000 before the end of 2026 in a Polymarket contract, with the market assigning higher probabilities to lower price thresholds.

The $200,000 contract recorded $2.09 million in volume when accessed Oct. 10. The broader 2026 Bitcoin price event had recorded $73.34 million in volume.

The same market showed a 30% implied probability that Bitcoin would reach $100,000, 7% for $120,000 and 3% for $140,000 before the deadline.

The CME CF Bitcoin Real-Time Index displayed $86,056.42 at 10:33 a.m. ET (14:33 UTC) on Oct. 6. Reaching $200,000 would require Bitcoin to move substantially above that reference level, although the prediction-market contract measures only whether the threshold is reached before the deadline.

Prediction-market prices are commonly read as implied probabilities. A contract trading at 1 cent suggests roughly a 1% market-implied chance before fees, liquidity and other market frictions.

The contracts do not establish Bitcoin’s expected closing price or represent an official forecast. They measure whether Bitcoin reaches a specified price before a set deadline.
