> Bitcoin Cash remained below five major moving averages as Stochastic readings entered oversold territory without confirming a reversal.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) traded at $278.10 on Binance spot on Oct. 10, down 0.61% over 24 hours, as the token remained below five major moving averages and faced clustered resistance above the market.

The session range was $272.10 to $281.50. BCH was below its seven-day simple moving average at $296.21, 20-day SMA at $311.95, 12-day exponential moving average at $296.29, 26-day EMA at $291.60 and 200-day SMA at $302.43. Its 50-day SMA was lower at $273.81.

Immediate resistance stood at $282.37, followed by strong resistance at $286.63. The moving averages between $291.60 and $311.95 represented additional overhead levels.

Stochastic readings indicated weak short-term momentum, with %K at 12.23 and %D at 9.79, both below the conventional 20 threshold for oversold conditions. The 14-period relative strength index was 44.20. The daily MACD and signal line were both 4.6812, leaving the histogram at 0.0000 and providing no directional confirmation.

Immediate support stood at $272.97 and $273.81, around the 50-day SMA. Strong support was at $267.83, while the lower Bollinger Band was $265.36. Oversold readings can persist during a decline and do not establish a reversal.

BCH’s daily average true range was $14.96, or about 5.4% of its spot price. The Bollinger middle band was $311.95, the upper band was $358.54 and %B was 0.1368.

Binance Futures open interest stood at 317,549.70 contracts, with an approximate notional value of $91.6 million, up 2.87% over 24 hours. The eight-hour funding rate was -0.0088%.
