> JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo and Citigroup are scheduled to report quarterly results Tuesday, followed by September consumer and producer price data.

The U.S. market calendar this week combines major-bank earnings with two inflation reports, giving investors several scheduled data points to assess corporate results and price pressures.

JPMorgan Chase plans to release its third-quarter results at about 7 a.m. ET (11:00 UTC) Tuesday, Oct. 13. Its conference call is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 UTC).

Goldman Sachs plans to announce quarterly results at about 7:30 a.m. ET (11:30 UTC), followed by a conference call at 9:30 a.m. ET (13:30 UTC). Wells Fargo lists its third-quarter earnings event for 10 a.m. ET (14:00 UTC).

Citigroup is scheduled to issue quarterly results at about 8 a.m. ET (12:00 UTC), with its earnings call set for about 11 a.m. ET (15:00 UTC).

The earnings schedule will be followed by the September inflation releases. Consumer price data is due at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 UTC) Wednesday, Oct. 14. Producer price data is scheduled for the same time Thursday, Oct. 15.

The 10-year Treasury yield was 5.22% on Oct. 8. Treasury yields influence borrowing costs across the economy and remain a key market reference as investors review bank results and inflation data.

The next major event is Tuesday’s series of bank earnings releases, followed by the consumer price report Wednesday morning and the producer price report Thursday morning.
