> Stellar’s native token remains above its 200-day average but below several shorter-term measures as derivatives positioning stays nearly even.

Stellar’s native token, XLM, held near the $0.20 pivot on Binance late Sunday as mixed moving-average and momentum readings left the token’s short-term direction unsettled.

XLM traded at $0.2016387 at 10:30 p.m. ET Sunday, Oct. 11 (2:30 a.m. UTC Monday, Oct. 12), up 2.77% over 24 hours. The reported high was $0.2053592 and the low was $0.1944972.

The $0.20 area remains the current pivot after XLM failed to sustain levels above $0.21, a key near-term resistance zone. The seven-day and 50-day moving averages were at $0.20, while the 20-day average stood at $0.21. XLM remained above its 200-day average of $0.18.

Momentum readings were mixed. The 14-period daily relative strength index was 48.56, near the midpoint between overbought and oversold conditions. The MACD line and signal line were both 0.0005, leaving the histogram at zero.

Bollinger Bands were $0.19 and $0.23, with a midpoint of $0.21. The daily ATR(14) was $0.01.

Derivatives positioning showed little imbalance at 4 a.m. ET Monday, Oct. 12 (8 a.m. UTC). Binance futures open interest was about 199 million contracts, equivalent to roughly $40.1 million in notional value, down 0.69% over 24 hours. The eight-hour funding rate was 0.0100%, while the global account long-short ratio was 1.0333, with 50.8% of accounts long and 49.2% short.

XLM is the native currency of the Stellar network and is used for transaction fees, rent and minimum-balance requirements.

A sustained move above $0.21 would bring the $0.23 upper Bollinger Band into focus, while a break below $0.19 would weaken the current consolidation range. Both scenarios are conditional and do not constitute confirmed forecasts.
