> The target is about 1% above a cited Apple share price of roughly $336. Apple’s fiscal third-quarter 2026 revenue rose 16% to $109.4 billion.

JPMorgan maintained a $340 price target and Buy rating on Apple on Oct. 12, leaving the target about 1% above a cited share price of roughly $336 and indicating limited near-term appreciation based on that reference price.

The rating was also described as Overweight, while the price target remained unchanged. JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee was named in connection with the view.

Apple’s fiscal third-quarter 2026 results showed stronger operating performance. Revenue for the quarter ended June 27 rose 16% from a year earlier to $109.4 billion.

Gross margin was 50.1%, including an approximately two-percentage-point benefit from tariff refunds. Diluted earnings per share climbed 29% to $2.02, including a $0.11 benefit from the refunds.

“Today, Apple is proud to report our strongest June quarter ever, with double-digit revenue growth across iPhone, Mac and Services, and in every geographic segment,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said.

Apple CFO Kevan Parekh said the quarter set June-quarter records for earnings per share and operating cash flow.

The $340 target sits close to the cited Apple share price, making the call positive in direction but modest in its implied upside. No specific timing was provided for the price target.
