Meteora’s MET token rose as Bitcoin and Ether declined on Oct. 8, 2026, while gains in several Solana-linked assets pointed to a concentrated rally rather than a broad altcoin rotation.

MET recorded a reported Oct. 8 high of $0.5419, a low of $0.4279 and a close of $0.4427 in one market-data series. A separate series placed the close at $0.441720 and market capitalization at $248.04 million. The figures use different methodologies and are not directly interchangeable.

Trading volume ranged from $156.76 million to $169.3 million across the two series.

The move followed Meteora’s promotion of DLMM Pro, a waitlist-stage product for users and builders. The product combines “DLMM, DAMM V2 & DBC.” DLMM refers to Meteora’s Dynamic Liquidity Market Maker, while DAMM V2 and DBC are other listed liquidity and bonding-curve products.

DLMM Pro’s waitlist invites users and builders to help shape on-chain liquidity tools. The official page provides no public launch date or adoption figures.

At 2 a.m. ET (06:00 UTC) on Oct. 8, 2026, Bitcoin (BTC) stood at $82,686, down 1.96%, while Ether (ETH) traded at $2,560.77, down 2.30%. Bitcoin accounted for 58.95% of total crypto market capitalization, and 83% of tracked coins were higher at that time.

Other Solana-related tokens also advanced in the snapshot. Wormhole rose 23.80%, while Jupiter gained 12.72%.

The cluster of gains may indicate concentrated trading interest in parts of the Solana ecosystem, but price performance alone does not demonstrate broader user growth, higher fees or increased revenue. [Recent analysis](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/27121>) has found that altcoin strength remains too narrow to confirm a broad market rotation.

For now, MET’s move remains an ecosystem-focused rally, while DLMM Pro is still in the waitlist phase and has no public launch date.
