A mathematical scenario puts Nvidia’s potential $10 trillion market-cap milestone in late 2030, while giving a wider 2029–2032 range. The calculation is neither a company target nor an analyst consensus and assumes sustained AI-infrastructure demand, earnings growth and no material change in Nvidia’s share count.

The scenario gives a stated range of 2029 to 2032. It is a mathematical exercise rather than Nvidia guidance, an analyst consensus or a corporate target.

Nvidia closed at $229.28 on Oct. 9, 2026, at 4 p.m. ET (20:00 UTC), giving the company an approximate market capitalization of $5.54 trillion. Reaching $10 trillion with no material change in the share count would require an estimated 80.5% increase and imply a share price of about $413.80.

The scenario produces different dates depending on annual market-cap growth. At 15% annual growth, the milestone falls in December 2030. At 20%, it falls in February 2030; at 25%, July 2029; and at 30%, January 2029.

Nvidia reported $96.2 billion in fiscal second-quarter 2027 revenue for the quarter ended July 26, 2026, up 106% from a year earlier and 18% sequentially. Data-center revenue reached $89.0 billion, up 117% year over year and 18% sequentially.

The company reported a 75.0% GAAP gross margin and diluted earnings per share of $2.46 for the quarter. Nvidia’s Form 10-Q listed 24.1 billion shares outstanding as of Aug. 21, 2026.

Nvidia and Amazon Web Services announced plans Aug. 26, 2026, to deploy 2 million additional Nvidia GPUs across AWS infrastructure. The announcement did not quantify the potential effect on Nvidia’s revenue or earnings.

Nvidia’s valuation is closely tied to spending by cloud providers, artificial-intelligence laboratories and enterprises on accelerated computing. The company is also expanding into networking, central processing units and integrated AI infrastructure.

“AI has reached its inflection point. It’s doing useful work. Its tokens are productive and profitable. Now, compute is revenue,” Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang said.

The scenario does not establish when Nvidia might reach the valuation. Its outcome depends on the growth assumptions and the continued demand and earnings expansion built into the calculation.
