# Ether Short Liquidations Hit $10.25 Million in One Hour

Ether (ETH) short liquidations reached $10.25 million in the hour through 1:29 a.m. ET (05:29 UTC) on Oct. 13 as the cryptocurrency rose 0.75% to $2,530 from $2,511.

The total liquidation value was $10.26 million across Binance, Bybit and OKX, based on public liquidation data from the three exchanges. Long liquidations totaled $0, while short liquidations accounted for nearly the entire amount.

The figures cover only those three exchanges and do not represent a marketwide total. The data was measured at 1:29 a.m. ET, when Ether’s price had climbed $19 during the preceding hour.
