> At $107.86, Solana had a $63.5 billion market capitalization. A $500 price would imply about $294.6 billion if circulating supply stayed near 589.2 million SOL.

Solana (SOL) would need to rise about 363% from its Oct. 13 price to reach $500, a level that would imply a market capitalization near $294.6 billion if circulating supply remained close to 589.2 million tokens.

SOL was trading at $107.86 at 12:47 a.m. ET (04:47 UTC) Oct. 13, with a market capitalization of $63.5 billion and circulating supply of 589.2 million SOL. At that price, SOL was about 63% below its Jan. 19, 2025, all-time high of $294.33.

The $500 scenario depends on the supply assumption holding steady. It would also require stronger demand than current market levels, including renewed participation through U.S. spot Solana exchange-traded funds and continued use of the network.

ETF flows weakened during the week ended Oct. 9, with $24.8 million in net outflows after 14 consecutive weeks of inflows. A separate daily tally put the weekly outflows at approximately $25 million, a difference of about $0.2 million.

Solana's Alpenglow upgrade is expected to activate on mainnet in October 2026. The upgrade targets transaction finality of about 150 milliseconds, compared with roughly 12.8 seconds currently.

Displayed ecosystem metrics included $5.99 billion in decentralized-finance total value locked, $15.95 billion in stablecoin market capitalization and $1.28 billion in 24-hour decentralized-exchange volume. Seven-day decentralized-exchange volume was approximately $16.8 billion. The displayed figures did not include a precise observation time.

Those metrics show multibillion-dollar activity across Solana's ecosystem but do not establish how much translates into durable fee or application-revenue growth. The valuation scenario therefore rests on the combination of higher demand, successful deployment of Alpenglow and sustained network use.
