> DOGE open interest fell 13.69% to $208 million, while Ether retained the largest position base at $5.74 billion despite a 4.07% decline.

Dogecoin (DOGE) led 24-hour declines in perpetual-futures open interest among five major crypto assets Tuesday, while Bitcoin (BTC) recorded the highest funding rate in the group, pointing to broad repositioning across derivatives markets.

DOGE open interest fell 13.69% to $208 million as of 7:04 a.m. ET (11:04 UTC) Oct. 13. Its funding rate was positive at 0.0051% every eight hours, or 5.6% annualized. Accounts were 70.1% long and 29.9% short, and DOGE’s mark price was $0.0834.

Bitcoin’s funding rate reached 0.0079% every eight hours, equal to 8.6% annualized. Positive funding means traders holding long positions pay those holding shorts. BTC open interest declined 1.04% to $7.82 billion, while accounts were 54% long and 46% short. Its mark price was $83,167.

Ether (ETH) had the largest open-interest base at $5.74 billion after a 4.07% decline over 24 hours. Its funding rate stood at 0.0042% every eight hours, or 4.6% annualized. Accounts were 71.6% long and 28.4% short, and ETH’s mark price was $2,493.

Solana (SOL) open interest fell 3.35% to $914.7 million. Its funding rate was 0.0073% every eight hours, equivalent to 8.0% annualized. Accounts were 69.7% long and 30.3% short. SOL’s mark price was $106.10.

XRP open interest declined 1.83% to $409.3 million, with a funding rate of 0.0020% every eight hours, or 2.2% annualized. Accounts were 71.0% long and 29.0% short. XRP’s mark price was $1.35.

The latest figures extend the pattern seen in an [earlier five-asset derivatives snapshot](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/28883>), when open interest also declined across the group. The Oct. 13 reading shows that open interest continued to contract even as funding remained positive for all five assets.
