> Class A shares closed at $180.39 Monday after trading between $176.80 and $184.23. The Bureau of Labor Statistics will release September inflation data Oct. 14 at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Coinbase Class A shares rose 0.56% Monday to $180.39 as investors prepared for the U.S. inflation report scheduled for Wednesday, a release that may shape expectations for Federal Reserve policy and risk appetite across markets.

The stock traded between $176.80 and $184.23 during the Oct. 12 session.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is scheduled to publish September consumer-price data Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. UTC).

The release follows August data showing headline consumer prices rose 3.4% from a year earlier and 0.4% from the prior month on a seasonally adjusted basis. Core prices, which exclude food and energy, increased 2.4% year over year and 0.3% month over month.

The inflation report comes as markets assess the outlook for Federal Reserve policy and demand for risk assets. [U.S. Treasury positioning remains heavily short ahead of the CPI release](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/30424>), adding to the focus on Wednesday’s figures.

The BLS release is the next scheduled event for markets tracking U.S. inflation and its potential effect on policy expectations.
