> Bitcoin briefly fell near $81,000 before rebounding toward $83,000, while major altcoins posted steeper weekly losses and spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $65.4 million in outflows.

Bitcoin remained under pressure Tuesday after falling about 7% from early last week, as weaker altcoins, a one-day outflow from U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds and elevated Treasury yields weighed on market sentiment ahead of the next U.S. inflation report.

Bitcoin (BTC) was near $83,000 on Oct. 13 after dropping from roughly $87,000 early the week of Oct. 5 to about $81,000 on Oct. 12. The decline has put pressure on “Uptober,” a market label linked to Bitcoin’s historically strong October performance.

Major altcoins recorded steeper losses over the same seven-day period. Solana (SOL) fell 11%, while Hyperliquid (HYPE) and Dogecoin (DOGE) each declined 12%. XRP dropped 10%, and Ether (ETH) fell 8%.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted $65.4 million in net outflows on Oct. 12. Their cumulative net flows since launch stood at $57.112 billion.

The Crypto Fear & Greed Index fell to 56 from 67 one week earlier, remaining in the neutral range. The reading reflects a softer market mood but does not establish that Bitcoin’s broader October pattern has ended.

In the available market snapshot, the 30-year yield reached 5.70% before easing to 5.60%, while the 10-year yield stood at 5.24%.

The next major catalyst is the September consumer price report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. UTC). Investors will use the release to assess inflation and its implications for interest-rate expectations.
