> ADA fell 15.7% over seven days as large-holder balances and active addresses declined, while the network recorded 1,780,896 transactions during Epoch 660.

Cardano’s ADA token traded near $0.234 on Oct. 13 after falling 15.7% over seven days, while large-holder balances declined and network transactions reached a record during Epoch 660.

Large holders reduced their combined balances by more than 110 million ADA over five days. At $0.234, that amount had an estimated value of about $25.7 million, although the balance change does not establish that the tokens were sold on exchanges.

The ADA may have moved between wallets, shifted among related addresses or been redistributed in other ways. An earlier report on [Cardano large-holder balances](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/28148>) recorded a decline of about 90 million ADA since Sept. 20, but the two periods cannot be treated as a confirmed continuation.

Network indicators pointed in different directions. Daily active addresses fell from 27,248 to 15,977, a 41.36% decrease. During Epoch 660, spanning Oct. 6-11, Cardano recorded 1,780,896 transactions.

The total surpassed the previous record of 1,566,974 transactions in Epoch 304 in November 2021. Epoch 660 averaged 83.83 transactions per block and generated approximately 337,720 ADA in fees.

Transaction counts and active-address figures measure different forms of network activity. Repeated transactions by the same users, applications or governance processes can raise the total without indicating more unique users or stronger economic demand. Governance voting by Cardano’s Delegated Representatives accounted for part of the increase, but its share was not quantified.

Price readings varied by snapshot. ADA closed at $0.232856 on Oct. 12, with a market capitalization of $9.46 billion and trading volume of $383 million. A separate Oct. 13 reading placed the token near $0.2384, down 10.6% over seven days and 6.1% over 24 hours.

Analytical markers placed support around $0.224 to $0.240, with additional areas near $0.22 to $0.23 and $0.20. Approximately $0.21 was identified as a lower channel boundary. These levels are chart-based markers rather than confirmed future prices.

Separately, the Cardano Card service will be discontinued on Oct. 31, 2026. Wirex is moving away from its custodial infrastructure, and no replacement provider or relaunch date has been confirmed. The service change has not been linked to ADA’s price decline or the reduction in large-holder balances.
