> Kamino Lend held $1.314 billion and Jupiter Lend $1.128 billion on Oct. 13. The total includes deposited and borrowed tokens.

Solana’s lending sector held $2.722 billion in total value locked on Oct. 13, with Kamino Lend and Jupiter Lend accounting for most of the market’s recorded value.

Kamino Lend held $1.314 billion, while Jupiter Lend held $1.128 billion. Together, the two protocols represented about $2.44 billion of the sector’s total value locked.

The measure includes deposited and borrowed tokens, so it does not represent deposits alone. It also covers lending activity across multiple assets and pools rather than a single stablecoin market.

Selected pool snapshots showed different yield levels across protocols and dates. Jupiter Lend’s USDC pool was listed at 5.12% APY on approximately $497 million in deposits as of Oct. 10. Kamino’s Sentora PYUSD vault showed an 8.02% APY on $112 million in deposits, including about 2.3 percentage points from rewards.

Other snapshots listed Loopscale USDC at 6.91% and OnRe ONyc at 11.02% on Oct. 11. Leveraged Kamino strategies showed returns ranging from 15.6% to 23.61%.

Those figures reflect different pools, strategies and measurement dates. A separate Oct. 9 snapshot listed Jupiter’s USDC lending rate at 4.54% APY and Kamino’s USDC rate at 4.47%, compared with Jupiter’s 5.12% figure on Oct. 10.

Some Solana pools also showed utilization rates between 95% and 99%, meaning most deposited liquidity had been lent out. High utilization may increase liquidity risk, while leveraged strategies add liquidation risk by borrowing against deposited assets and redepositing the proceeds.

Products linked to real-world assets may also expose users to off-chain borrowers or counterparties. The market’s next reported change will depend on shifts in deposits, borrowing demand, incentives and the composition of the pools included in the total.
