> The largest put position sits at the $1,500 strike, while call interest is concentrated between $1,900 and $2,140.

ASML Holding N.V. options markets are pricing a roughly 5.5% move after the semiconductor equipment maker releases third-quarter results before U.S. markets open Wednesday, with downside protection concentrated well below the stock’s current price.

The implied move represents approximately $94 per share. ASML shares were down 2.3% near $1,709 Tuesday morning.

The largest put position was at the $1,500 strike, where open contracts totaled 1,537. Other downside-protection clusters were concentrated between $1,400 and $1,500, indicating that options activity is heavily positioned around lower price levels ahead of the report.

On the upside, call open interest was concentrated at $1,900, $1,960 and $2,000. Additional concentrations appeared at $2,100 and $2,140, marking the main levels highlighted by options positioning above the current share price.

The earnings release is expected to provide new information on semiconductor demand and the company’s plans to expand production capacity. ASML has discontinued quarterly order disclosures, citing sharp fluctuations in order volumes. Instead, it provides guidance for the number of machines it expects to produce this year and in the coming years.
