Ether (ETH) fell 2.11% in four hours to $2,325 in the Oct. 15 spot-market snapshot at 9:55 a.m. ET (13:55 UTC), extending its 24-hour decline to 5.86%.

The four-hour comparison uses collected Binance spot ETH/USDT prices. The $51 decline over that interval came alongside a 5.86% loss over 24 hours, measured against Ether's price a day earlier.

Across Binance, Bybit and OKX, ETH long liquidations totaled $7.13 million during the same one-hour period, compared with $520,000 in short liquidations. Long liquidations exceeded short liquidations by $6.61 million.

That put the 24-hour decline 3.75 percentage points deeper than the four-hour change. Long liquidations were about 13.7 times short liquidations by dollar value. The two price comparisons cover four-hour and 24-hour windows, while the liquidation total captures a single hour across three exchanges. Ether is the second-largest crypto asset by market capitalization.
