> U.S. commercial revenue rose 149%, and Palantir lifted its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to $8.150 billion to $8.158 billion.

Ritholtz Wealth Management CEO Josh Brown called Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) a volatile AI software stock, citing a beta of 1.6. Separately, Palantir’s second-quarter results showed revenue growth of 93%.

Brown’s assessment appeared Thursday, Oct. 15, at 11:39 a.m. ET (15:39 UTC). He called the stock “closest you’ll get to the Formula Rossa experience.”

Brown described a 48% decline from Palantir’s earlier record close of $207.18 to a low near $107 in June 2026. He also pointed to a rebound that took shares to a record closing price of $209.05 on Oct. 9.

The second-quarter figures cover the three months ended June 30, 2026, several months before Brown’s October assessment. Revenue for the quarter totaled $1.935 billion, up 93% from the year-earlier period.

U.S. commercial revenue reached $764 million, an increase of 149%, while U.S. government revenue rose 90% to $809 million. Commercial revenue grew faster by percentage, while government revenue was higher in dollar terms among the two U.S. segments.

Palantir builds software that organizations use to integrate data, decisions and operations. Its Artificial Intelligence Platform is designed to connect AI models with the company’s software, adding product context to Brown’s description of Palantir as an AI software stock.

Palantir raised its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $8.150 billion to $8.158 billion. The company’s next scheduled results, for the third quarter, are Nov. 2, 2026.
