> An Oct. 17 weekly-chart snapshot showed DOGE 7.6% below the week’s open, while the estimated balance increase does not show when holders acquired their tokens.

Dogecoin (DOGE) was below $0.081 in an Oct. 17 weekly-chart snapshot, after falling about 7.6% from the week’s open and moving under a level crypto analyst Ali Martinez had identified in a possible recovery setup.

The snapshot showed DOGE at 0.08020 USDT, against a weekly open of 0.08678 USDT and a low of 0.07770 USDT.

Martinez’s setup combined a daily TD Sequential buy signal near $0.081 with an estimate that about 36 billion DOGE last moved on-chain around that price. He also estimated large-holder balances rose from 55.6 billion DOGE on Oct. 12 to 56.2 billion on Oct. 16, an increase of about 600 million DOGE. That change does not establish when holders acquired the tokens or what they paid.

“So many tokens changing hands at this price makes it a key level to watch, though it does not guarantee buyers will defend it,” Martinez wrote.

DOGE was below its 20-week simple moving average of $0.08163 and the daily chart’s Bollinger midpoint of $0.08847. The daily chart’s lower Bollinger boundary was $0.07736. The on-chain distribution reflects where tokens last moved; it does not show live buy orders. A TD Sequential signal points to a possible turning point, not a confirmed rebound.

The $0.081 level also appeared in an [Oct. 12 technical setup](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/30920>) that outlined a conditional DOGE range of $0.081 to $0.092.
