> Farrell does not expect a new Bitcoin record in 2026 and says bond volatility is clouding the near-term outlook.

Sean Farrell, Fundstrat’s head of digital asset strategy, said Bitcoin (BTC) could reach $95,000 to $100,000 by year-end, while bond volatility and a potential MSCI index exclusion complicate the near-term market outlook.

Farrell does not expect Bitcoin to set a new record in 2026. He sees swings in the bond market spilling into stocks, making Bitcoin’s short-term direction harder to assess. Rising liquidity supports his broader view of the asset.

Farrell expects MSCI to exclude Bitcoin treasury companies from its indexes. He sees limited impact on Strategy and believes much of the potential downside is already reflected in market prices.

Farrell also raised the possibility that an MSCI exclusion could affect STRC, Strategy’s preferred stock, on its return to par.
