> The four-year channel scenario calls for a pullback before another advance, and its written analysis gives no deadline for the target.

Ether (ETH) would need to climb about 193% from its Oct. 19 price to meet TradingShot's $7,000 chart target, which depends on a pullback followed by another rise.

ETH stood at $2,392.96 at 1:57 p.m. ET (17:57 UTC) on Oct. 19. At $7,000, it would trade about 41% above its recorded high of $4,953.73. The target is a chart projection, not a price Ether has reached.

TradingShot outlined the scenario Oct. 16 using a four-year rising price channel. The analysis points to a recent higher high and a move above the 50-week moving average as changes from the declining highs seen during Ether's 2025-2026 downturn. The moving average is a reference line based on 50 weeks of prices; crossing it is one part of the chart setup, not the calculation behind the $7,000 figure.

The nearer-term concern is resistance in the weekly relative strength index, a measure of price momentum. “ETH is quite likely to make a pull-back,” TradingShot wrote. For the longer-term scenario to develop, the next decline would have to leave a higher low before Ether resumed making higher highs. A higher low means the next trough stays above the previous one.

The analysis also describes the target as a 365.92% gain from the cycle bottom. That calculation begins at a different price than the Oct. 19 snapshot used for the roughly 193% figure. Both percentages describe the distance to $7,000, but neither establishes that Ether will reach it.

Ethereum's development schedule provides separate context. Its Fusaka upgrade went live Dec. 3, 2025, changing how nodes handle data posted by layer-2 networks. Glamsterdam is expected on mainnet in the fourth quarter of 2026, with planned changes to how blocks are produced and validated. No mainnet activation date has been set, and neither upgrade establishes an ETH price target.

TradingShot's written analysis sets no deadline for $7,000. The next condition in its projected path is a pullback that ends in a higher low.
