> XRP’s price dropped about 45.5% across annual Oct. 19 UTC snapshots, while reported circulating supply rose to 63.13 billion tokens. Evernorth shares began trading as XRPN on Nasdaq on Oct. 12.

XRP’s circulating market value fell $61.14 billion between the Oct. 19 UTC historical snapshots a year apart, while Evernorth Holdings Inc. (Evernorth) completed the business combination behind its publicly traded XRP treasury company.

The Oct. 19, 2026, historical snapshot put XRP’s circulating market value at $82.24 billion. The Oct. 19, 2025, snapshot showed $143.38 billion, making the decline $61.14 billion, or 42.64%. XRP’s price moved from $2.3906 to $1.3027 across the same snapshots, a drop of about 45.5%.

Reported circulating supply rose from 59,975,443,601 XRP to 63,129,671,205 XRP, or roughly 59.98 billion to 63.13 billion. Market value is calculated by multiplying a token’s price by its circulating supply, so the supply increase left the market-value decline smaller than the price decline. The $61.14 billion change measures a valuation difference, not cash withdrawn from XRP.

Both readings use the same end-of-day UTC snapshot method.

Evernorth signed its business combination agreement on Oct. 19, 2025, and announced the plan publicly the next day. The plan projected more than $1 billion in gross proceeds for a company intended to hold XRP and pursue strategies across its ecosystem.

The combination closed Oct. 9, 2026, and Evernorth shares began trading on Nasdaq under XRPN on Oct. 12. At closing, the company held approximately 473 million XRP and had approximately $300 million in gross cash proceeds before transaction expenses.

The initial proceeds target and closing cash figure measure different parts of the transaction. The target included XRP contributions, while the closing figure is gross cash proceeds, so it is not a direct comparison of the total proceeds raised against the original target. XRP’s price is expected to be a major factor in Evernorth’s results.

“We’ll be deploying capital across the XRP economy,” Evernorth founder and CEO Asheesh Birla said when the deal closed.
