> All six major coins in the latest snapshot rose over 24 hours. Short liquidations exceeded long liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX.

Crypto market capitalization fell 0.35% over 24 hours to $2.76 trillion late Oct. 19, even as Bitcoin (BTC) and five other major coins rose, leaving the largest assets out of step with the broader market.

Bitcoin traded at $82,031 at 5:07 p.m. ET (21:07 UTC), up 1.35% from a day earlier. Marketwide trading volume over 24 hours reached $73.38 billion. Bitcoin made up 59.6% of total crypto market capitalization, while Ether (ETH) represented 10.6%.

Ether climbed 2.09% to $2,402. XRP (XRP) advanced 2.96% to $1.30, and BNB (BNB) gained 2.85% to $728.73. Each rose more than Bitcoin in percentage terms, although the gains did not lift the market’s combined value.

Solana (SOL) rose 3.33% to $104.57, and Dogecoin (DOGE) increased 3.51% to $0.0794. Dogecoin had the strongest 24-hour gain of the six coins in the snapshot, while Bitcoin had the smallest. All six were higher despite the decline in total market capitalization.

Results varied across the top 39 assets. Worldcoin (WLD) led the group with an 11.09% gain, while World Liberty Financial (WLFI) fell 3.53%, the weakest performance in that group. The declines elsewhere in the market contrasted with the gains posted by the six major coins.

Liquidations on Binance, Bybit and OKX totaled about $164 million over 24 hours. Short positions accounted for $117.4 million, compared with $46.7 million in long positions. Traders holding short positions therefore bore the larger share of liquidations across the three exchanges.

That balance reversed from [the Oct. 17 market snapshot](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/33949>), when long liquidations of $124.9 million exceeded $82 million in short liquidations. The earlier reading recorded $206.9 million in total liquidations across the same exchanges and put crypto market capitalization at $2.76 trillion. Bitcoin was $81,548 at that time, with the major coins in the snapshot down over 24 hours.

The latest $2.76 trillion market value matched that earlier reading after rounding, but reflected a 0.35% decline within the latest 24-hour period. Over that same window, Bitcoin and the other five named major coins gained.
