> Solana generated about $6.54 million in network revenue from Oct. 12-18, more than twice BNB Chain's total, even as its own revenue declined over the past month.

Solana (SOL) fell about 15% since early October even as its blockchain led a weekly revenue ranking, leaving the token’s price moving in a different direction from two measures of network activity.

SOL was near $104 in an Oct. 20 reading, down from roughly $122 at the start of the month. The decline took less than three weeks. The token was also below its late September peak of about $125, though it remained almost 70% above its June level.

Solana generated about $6.54 million in network revenue from Oct. 12-18. BNB Chain followed at $3.23 million, while Ethereum generated $2.87 million and Bitcoin generated $1.5 million. Solana’s total was slightly more than twice BNB Chain’s for the period.

The result marked Solana’s fifth consecutive week atop the network revenue comparison. Its revenue has nevertheless declined over the past month. The weekly ranking shows how Solana performed against other blockchains during that period; it does not mean revenue on Solana is rising.

The network has also seen growth in addresses holding tokenized stocks. About 1.4 million addresses held at least one tokenized equity product, compared with fewer than 500,000 in early September.

That count measures how many addresses have a qualifying holding, not the amount or value of stock held. It is not a count of individual investors because one person can control multiple addresses.

The growth in holder addresses occurred while Solana’s network revenue was falling. Neither measure establishes what drove SOL’s price decline, and the address count alone does not show how much revenue tokenized-stock activity generated.
