RLUSD ranked ahead of XRP in Korea’s crypto attention index, while WLD took the top spot with a score of 93.3 and 10.54% of domestic trading.

WLD’s domestic trading share was 25.1 times its global share, while ONDO, STX and RLUSD also showed substantially heavier activity in Korea than overseas.

As of Oct. 20, WLD led the 54 tracked assets with an attention score of 93.3. Its 24-hour domestic trading volume was 96.85 billion won.

ONDO ranked second with 86.1 points, followed by RLUSD with 82.0. Their domestic trading shares were 2.75% and 1.74%, respectively, with trading volumes of 25.29 billion won and 15.99 billion won.

Several assets were more active overseas. BNB accounted for 0.61% of global trading but only 0.02% domestically. USDC recorded 15.54% globally and 2.22% domestically, while XAUT posted 0.17% and 0.03%, respectively. USDT’s shares were 43.31% globally and 20.93% in Korea.

WLD recorded the strongest recent acceleration in trading activity, followed by WLFI and ARB. WLD rose 9.19% over 24 hours, while WLFI and ARB fell 5.59% and 3.17%, respectively. JST, FIL and MNT showed the sharpest slowdown in activity.

POL had the highest kimchi premium at 0.33%, followed by HBAR at 0.30% and INJ at 0.27%. AERO traded at the deepest discount at -0.63%, with CC at -0.51% and DOT at -0.39%.

[Editor’s note] Coin Gukjang tracks Korea’s crypto market through an attention index covering assets listed on both domestic and overseas exchanges. The index combines domestic and global trading shares, the kimchi premium and recent changes in trading activity. It is centered on actual trading volume, not page views. A wider gap between domestic and global shares indicates that an asset is traded disproportionately in Korea, increasing the potential for divergence from overseas prices.
