An earlier [30-day net inflow tally](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/35465>) put Gate in second place with more than $199 million. That tally covered wallets tracked for the exchange over a longer rolling period. The two rankings describe different time spans.

Gate also ranked third globally in [September derivatives trading](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/31120>), with $396.4 billion in trades. Derivatives volume and net inflows measure different activity, so the matching third-place rankings should be read separately.

Gate announced Gate Money on Oct. 7 as part of its expansion beyond exchange trading. The service is designed to combine fiat currency, digital assets, stocks, payments and asset management in one account system.
