> The September 2026 tally covered 1,083,771 launches, including tokens that never traded. A separate, longer sample used a different starting point.

Just 7.5% of the 1,083,771 Pump.fun tokens launched in September 2026 recorded a trade at least seven days after creation, showing how uncommon a later transaction was across the monthly cohort.

That seven-day group contained 81,465 tokens. At least 24 hours after launch, 186,148 tokens, or 17.2%, had recorded a trade. The 24-hour count includes the tokens in the seven-day group, so the two figures cannot be added together.

The September tally followed launches through Oct. 12 and included tokens that never traded. It counted a creator’s first purchase as a trade. A token could meet either time threshold with a single later transaction; the figures do not show that it traded continuously.

In the same launch group, 116,714 tokens, or 10.8%, reached a PumpSwap trading pool. That move, known as graduation, follows a token’s initial trading on Pump.fun’s bonding curve. The graduation figure records a platform milestone, separate from the measures of later trading.

A [broader look at Pump.fun trading](<https://www.tokenpost.com/news/investing/34383>) covered 8,984,141 tokens with enough history to observe a fifth week. In that group, 79% had no trades after the calendar day of their first swap. The observation period ran from Nov. 1, 2025, through Oct. 7, 2026.

Trading was less common later in that longer sample: 1.5% had at least one trade in their fifth week, and 0.2% had at least 10. About one in 58 tokens moved from Pump.fun’s initial trading curve to a PumpSwap pool by Oct. 7.

The September and longer-sample percentages use different denominators and clocks. The September figures start at token creation and include launches with no recorded trade. The longer sample starts with a token’s first successful swap and includes only tokens with a complete fifth week in the observation period.

A trade at least 24 hours after creation therefore cannot be compared directly with a trade after the calendar day of a first swap. These trading percentages also do not establish why activity stopped, how many holders remained or what the tokens were worth.
