> The Oct. 19 expansion covers options on 24 stocks and five ETFs that accounted for about 53% of average daily U.S.-listed options volume through September.

Cboe expanded trading hours on Oct. 19 for options on 24 stocks and five exchange-traded funds, including Robinhood and Nvidia, giving U.S. traders more time to trade widely used contracts.

The earlier session runs on weekdays from 7:30 to 9:25 a.m. ET. Eligible stock options also have a session from 4 to 4:15 p.m. ET after the regular close. For the five covered ETF options, that late window falls within their existing regular trading hours.

During daylight saving time, the morning window is 11:30–13:25 UTC and the late window is 20:00–20:15 UTC. When Eastern Time returns to standard time on Nov. 1, those windows will be 12:30–14:25 UTC and 21:00–21:15 UTC. The ET schedule does not change.

The eligible stocks include Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and Tesla, alongside Robinhood and Nvidia. The ETFs are SPY, QQQ, IWM, GLD and XLF. Together, options on the 29 underlying securities accounted for about 53% of average daily U.S.-listed options volume in 2026 through September.

The expansion applies to selected stock and ETF options. Cboe already offers nearly round-the-clock weekday trading for several index options. NYSE American Options also began early and late trading on Oct. 19 for selected stock and ETF options using the same time windows.

Cboe accepts only limit orders during its new morning session and the late session for stock options. It will review the eligible stock-option list twice a year and announce changes in advance.
