> A four-hour chart dated Oct. 21 recorded a $0.041 gain, or 0.42%, and marked near-term support at $9.50–$9.60.

Avalanche (AVAX) appeared at $9.743 on a four-hour chart dated Oct. 21, with near-term support marked at $9.50–$9.60 as the token continued its October retreat and analysts outlined lower levels.

The chart showed a gain of $0.041, or 0.42%, over its four-hour interval. AVAX had climbed from about $7.20 to above $11.50 in late September before trending lower in October.

Below the immediate support zone, the chart marked $9.00. Analyst Giannis Andreou identified $8.50–$8.90 as a broader support area, with $8.70 near a rising trendline. Andreou said a daily close below $8.50 would weaken his bullish outlook and increase the risk of a deeper pullback.

Analyst Michael van de Poppe identified $8 as a level where he would consider buying, pointing to weakness across altcoins amid uncertainty in crypto markets. He said stronger momentum in Bitcoin (BTC) could help restore strength across altcoins.

The chart marked resistance at $10, $10.30–$10.50 and $11. Andreou identified $11–$11.95 as a potential next zone if AVAX clears $10.50, followed by $12.50–$13.20 and $14.50–$15.20.
