> Two workers died at Shaybah and one Saudi resident at the airport. Operations at the oil field continued without disruption.

Attacks on Saudi Arabia’s Shaybah oil field and King Fahd International Airport killed three people, bringing violence to energy and aviation sites and heightening regional risk concerns for oil markets.

Two workers from Nepal and the Philippines died at Shaybah, while one Saudi resident was killed at the airport. The attacks also injured other people.

Both sites are in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. Shaybah is an Aramco oil field, and operations there continued without disruption after the attack.

The two attacks brought deaths to a production site and a transport hub in one province. The mix of targets broadens the security implications beyond the oil field, while continued operations at Shaybah limit the immediate operational effect on energy production.

The incidents add uncertainty around regional security, a factor that may shape global market perceptions of risk around Saudi Arabia and its energy sector, as well as broader risk sentiment.
