> Bitcoin lost about 2.5% over 24 hours, while the Nasdaq fell 2.6% and the 10-year yield shed 17 basis points Thursday.

Bitcoin fell with U.S. technology shares Thursday as investors shifted toward Treasurys, pushing the 10-year yield below 5% in a risk-off move rather than a clear sign of easing inflation.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index plunged 6.7%, while the Nasdaq Composite fell 2.6% to 26,008.86, its weakest daily performance since June 5. The Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 0.02%, and the Russell 2000 rose 0.11%, leaving the decline concentrated in technology shares.

Bitcoin (BTC) slid from about $84,400 early Thursday to roughly $81,200 Friday. Gold fell 2.88% to around $4,021, and silver lost 5.87% Thursday.

The 10-year Treasury yield fell 17 basis points, or 0.17 percentage point, to 4.96% from 5.13%. That move came even as initial jobless claims totaled 194,000, below the 200,000 expectation, and continuing claims reached 1.728 million, slightly above expectations.

Oil added to inflation concerns: West Texas Intermediate traded near $99 a barrel, up about 2% at a five-month high, while Brent topped $111 intraday. Lower yields can ease pressure on growth assets, but simultaneous declines in stocks, Bitcoin and precious metals pointed to risk aversion. The Fed's Oct. 28 postmeeting statement is the next policy marker, with inflation language and signals about December rates in focus.
