# Gate Opens Gold CFD Beta With 23-Hour Daily Trading Window

Gate has opened a limited beta for gold-dollar contracts for difference (CFDs) with a 23-hour daily window, including weekends, and is rolling access out to eligible users.

The product, identified as XAUUSD, lets invited participants view live prices and trade through Gate’s CFD page. The schedule runs from 06:00 to 05:00 the following day UTC+8, with a daily maintenance pause from 05:00 to 06:00 UTC+8. Trading stops during that maintenance hour.

While daylight time is in effect, the window converts to 6 p.m. ET through 5 p.m. ET the following day. After daylight saving time ends Nov. 1, those ET times shift one hour earlier, to 5 p.m. through 4 p.m. ET. The maintenance hour shifts from 5-6 p.m. ET to 4-5 p.m. ET.

Weekend availability lets participants open or close positions and manage orders on Saturdays and Sundays. Access is being phased in based on account status, and users can check their eligibility on their account page.
